The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2025 was held in Dubai with grandeur, celebrating the excellence of South Indian cinema. This year, Kannada films and artists stood out, winning multiple top honors and gaining global recognition for Sandalwood.
Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep bagged the Best Actor Award for his remarkable performance in Max. Ashika Ranganath won the Best Actress Award for her role in O2, while Duniya Vijay impressed critics, winning the Best Actor (Critics) Award for Bheema.
The Best Film Award went to Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi, while visionary filmmaker Upendra won the Best Director Award for UI. Music maestro B. Ajaneesh Loknath also shined, winning the Best Music Director Award for Max.
